Jesus Never Fails

Our History

People Sitting At Table

Maranatha Church of the Nazarene began with a simple desire: to create a place where people could gather to worship, grow, and serve together in Christ’s name. What started as a small group of believers with a shared vision has grown into a vibrant, multicultural congregation committed to living out the Gospel. From the beginning, the heartbeat of our church has been to welcome all who seek God and to build a community rooted in faith and love.

Over the years, God has guided and strengthened us through seasons of blessing, growth, and transformation. Faithful leaders, families, and volunteers have poured their time, prayers, and gifts into the church, helping shape its ministries and mission. Their dedication laid a strong foundation that continues to support everything we do today.

As the church expanded, so did our desire to reach the community around us. Maranatha has always believed that church is more than a building, it’s a people called to serve. Through outreach programs, prayer gatherings, and acts of compassion, we have sought to make a lasting impact on our neighborhood and to be a light that points others to Jesus.

Today, we stand grateful for the journey behind us and hopeful for the road ahead. Our history is a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the commitment of those who answered His call. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on our mission: to share the love of Christ, nurture disciples, and build a church family that honors God in every generation.
